Summer Stock Up

School is almost out. The pool will open soon. The weather is finally warming up. Sadly, for many of our neighbors, summer also means continued or increased food insecurity.

Summer usually means a decrease in donations to the Pantry - at a time some of our neighbors need us the most.

But, not this year!

We are launching a community-wide food drive from June 1 - June 15 to help stock our shelves with great choices for our neighbors. We are asking everyone- families, businesses, places of worship, neighborhood and community groups- to help us!

While hunger is very serious, solving the problem can be fun! Challenge a competitor or the church down the street to a friendly competition. Ask for people to bring donations to an event. See if you can fill your whole lobby with our most needed items. Make sure to share your efforts on social media and tag us!

With your help, we will keep our shelves full of healthy choices for our neighbors all summer long!
