Afternoon of Appreciation

At Worthington Resource Pantry, our volunteers and donors are the backbone of everything we do. To show our gratitude, we recently hosted our Afternoon of Appreciation event, recognizing the outstanding contributions of those who make our mission possible.

This year we wanted to highlight a few special people and organizations who have gone above and beyond for the Worthington Resource Pantry.

Susan Rising

Susan keeps all things tech running smoothly and our shelves stocked. Her expertise in problem-solving ensures we stay connected and efficient.

Al Malone

Al delivers food and complicated tech support consistently.

Ty Wait

Ty consistently rises to the challenge of solving the most complex issues. His resourcefulness can solve even the most complicated problems.

Theodore "Tad" White

Tad is always willing to lend a hand, bringing enthusiasm and flexibility to every task. His "can-do" attitude makes him a standout volunteer.

Dan Finn

Dan brings joy to space that can be joyless - our parking lot. He is a neighbor’s favorite and helps keep things running smoothly - in style.

The Harding-Buller Foundation of Worthington

The Harding-Buller Foundation has been a steadfast partner, focusing on feeding the whole person. Their collaboration with the Seventh Day Adventist Academy on one of our largest food drives, along with their dollar-for-pound match and support of wellness programs, has made a lasting impact.

Barbara and Bill Bonner Family Foundation

The Barbara and Bill Bonner Family Foundation is dedicated to helping children and families by providing essential items like milk, personal care products, and, most notably, diapers, filling critical needs in our community.

Janet Lasten

Since the onset of the pandemic, Janet has been a true hero, donating over $50,000 in food from our most-needed items list.

Safelite

Safelite’s community garden has provided over 1,600 pounds of fresh produce this year alone. Their weekly deliveries ensure that our neighbors have access to nutritious, homegrown food.
