Volunteer Spotlight - Kyle Michaelis

Volunteering at Worthington Resource Pantry is about more than just food—it’s about community. For Kyle Michaelis, that’s what makes it so rewarding. Whether he’s organizing produce, assembling supply packs, or helping families shop, he loves building connections while giving back. As the self-proclaimed “Head Produce Lead,” Kyle even brings a little humor to his role, sharing produce-themed jokes like, “I’m grapeful to see you again!”

Kyle has taken on many roles at the pantry, from sorting donations to distributing essentials like eggs and milk. One thing he wishes more people knew? The pantry serves neighbors from diverse backgrounds, speaking languages like Spanish, Russian, and French.

Kyle’s passion for service started early. Growing up in Toledo, he volunteered at Anthony Wayne Food Pantry. Kyle’s dedication, kindness, and sense of humor make him a valued part of the Worthington Resource Pantry family. Thank you, Kyle, for all you do!
